I lead design across three connected platforms, a whole service rather than one product in it. A decision in one surface shows up somewhere else, so the structure has to hold before the screens do.
I design the system first, then the thing you see. I prototype in code because a working version answers questions a mockup can't.
The point isn't producing more options. It's knowing which one deserves to be built.
