I'm Bonnie, connecting the bigger picture with the details to build products that feel obvious in hindsight.

Sounds simple, right?

A little about me

I'm a principal product designer at Grow, originally from South Korea and now based in Sydney. I studied business and design, started in visual design, and found my way into product — building things people actually use and watching them grow. Recent work has focused on fintech and B2B SaaS, while earlier roles and client projects took me across a broader mix of industries.

How I work

I start with discovery — digging into the real problem and why it matters — then tie it back to product strategy and business goals so the work actually moves something. That's where I do my best work: shaping solution direction, taking initiatives to the business, turning recommendations into scope teams can build from. I lead design across three connected platforms — the whole service, not one product in it. The interface is only the visible layer; the interesting work is everything holding them up.

Life lately

Beyond the day-to-day, I'm always building something — projects that keep me experimenting and sharpening my craft. Lately that's meant exploring AI experiences and building my own projects from scratch, like this site. Outside of it all, I'm happiest outdoors — running, hiking, or somewhere new with a trip booked. Phone away, fully off the clock.
